Something's missing from my order

I've received the wrong item

We’re really sorry, we might have mixed things up in the warehouse. Please let us know what’s happened – please send us pictures, too – and we’ll make sure this is  sorted for you.

My item doesn't match its online listing

We try and get all our listings spot on, but sometimes we might get it wrong. If you think we’ve made a mistake with the listing of your item, please let our customer support team know so we can investigate what happened. 

My parcel hasn't arrived

There should be a tracking number on your order confirmation email you can use to find your delivery. If it’s been more than 10 days since the expected delivery date, please get in touch

Do I need to book an early slot to find the best clothes?

Nope. We refill the rails regularly throughout the day so it doesn’t matter if you’re an early bird or want to join us in the last hour. There’ll be plenty of awesome one-off pieces to find.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, if we’ve not sold out beforehand. So we recommend pre-booking to guarantee your spot.

How much does a piece of clothing cost at an event?

You can buy as much or as little as you like, weigh and pay!

We weigh your vintage finds and that determines the cost.

We charge from £25 a kilo (but you do not need to buy a whole kilo).

We also have our Gold Collection Range where you will find hand-picked items which will have individual price tags

Questions about selling with we are.

It's my first time selling. What should I expect?

Firstly, thank you for choosing to sell your preloved pieces with we are.

You can visit one of our events to sell your stuff – no appointment necessary. Find the next event where we’ll be buying items here for up-to-date store and buying hours.

You’ll be greeted and asked to fill in the selling form when you arrive or you can do that in advance and hand it in. We’ll take your items and work out how to price them. As a seller, you’ll get free entry to our sale, so you can shop while you wait! Then we’ll call you and one of our buyers will go through your items to decide what we can sell. Feel free to ask why they’ve chosen or passed on certain items, how items are priced and any other questions. Then you can choose how you’d like to be paid for your items. We offer cash or credit to spend on items in our sales.

How does the we are. decide what to take?

We try and buy as much as we can from everyone who comes in with items to sell, but it’ll always be based on what we know our customers will buy. 

So our buyers make selections based on the style and condition of your items. They also look for brands, pieces or trends that are missing from our current stock. We look out for items that are selling quickly at our sales, or styles our customers are asking for. And we keep tabs on items that don’t sell so well. 

If you want to learn more about why your buyer is choosing certain items and passing on others, feel free to ask them! We love to talk fashion. 

Can I send you a photo of my item to receive an offer?

We have to see all items in person before we can say whether or not we’ll be able to buy them. This is to check things like quality and authenticity. 

I brought in an item that was on the selling guide. why did your buyer pass on it?

Our selling guide is a great place to find out what we’re excited about right now. It’ll include what customers are buying at the moment and what items we already have in stock. But sometimes our buyers might pass on an item based on its condition, or if we’ve suddenly had an influx of similar pieces.

What happens after I sell?

After you sell, your buyer will tell you your cash and store credit options. Feel free to shop around before making a decision. Then stop by the tills on your way out. Many customers like to use their store credit to buy an item they found that day. Others like to take a trade card to use on another day – it never expires!

Is there anything you don't buy?

We buy on-trend men’s and women’s clothing. We don’t buy children’s items, formalwear, traditional business wear, lingerie or nightwear, accessories, shoes, items with extreme wear or counterfeit items.

Do you buy clothing out of season?

We buy items that are in season. That includes coats and warm clothes in the winter, and lighter items in the summer.

What sizes do you buy?

As a general rule, we buy sizes 8-18 in women’s clothes, and up to 38” or XL in men’s. We do buy sizes outside of this range depending on the demand from our customers and stock levels.
